We are Wim and Marlies, real cat fanatics and the owners of Tante Betje. Wim is in charge of the day-to-day management and is an all-round handyman. Marlies is more concerned with administration and the finer details.
Our background
For years we worked as market gardeners and owned a nursery with the name Tante Betje (‘Aunt Betty’), which was the name of the previous occupant of our house. In 2014 we decided to establish our cat hotel with the same name. Our tomcat Guus was an important source of inspiration!
Naturally we have all the necessary qualifications for running a cat hotel. We also regularly attend courses, and we learn something new every day from our guests!
